ClearTape ("we", "us") provides an online service that summarizes public market news, filings, and related market context into plain-English insight cards and tools. The service is operated as a UK / GBP-priced software-as-a-service product available at clear-tape.com. Full registered company details will be published here when available.

ClearTape is for education and information only. Nothing on the site, in emails, or in any ClearTape feature is investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security or financial product. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. If you need advice, consult a suitably authorized professional.

3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to create an account. You agree to provide accurate registration details and keep your login credentials secure. You may sign in with email and password or via Google OAuth where enabled. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Plans, trial, and billing
ClearTape offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Pro is billed in GBP through Stripe on a monthly or yearly subscription. New Pro checkouts may include a free trial (length shown at checkout and on Pricing). A payment method is collected at checkout; unless you cancel before the trial ends, Stripe charges your card and the subscription renews automatically at the then-current plan price until cancelled.
Manage, update payment details, or cancel in Account → Manage subscription (Stripe Customer Portal), or contact us at support@clear-tape.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; access typically continues until the end of the current paid or trial period unless Stripe or the portal states otherwise.
Prices on the Pricing page are display amounts; the amount charged is the Stripe Price selected at checkout (including applicable tax if configured). We may change Free/Pro features or prices; material changes to paid plans will be communicated through the product or email where practical.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service: attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload our systems beyond normal personal use, reverse engineer except where permitted by law, resell bulk access without our written consent, or use ClearTape to break the law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or these Terms.
6. Content and third-party sources
Insight cards and summaries are generated from public sources and third-party market data providers. We do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or timeliness. Source links are provided where available so you can read the underlying material. Third-party sites have their own terms and privacy practices.
7. Intellectual property
The ClearTape name, design, software, and original editorial presentation are ours or our licensors’. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for your personal or internal business information needs while your account is in good standing. You do not acquire ownership of our IP.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable uptime but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change as we improve the product. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice where practicable.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ClearTape and its operators are not liable for investment losses, trading decisions, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service or reliance on any content. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the paid service is limited to the fees you paid us for Pro in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may have mandatory local rights that cannot be waived.
