1. Essential only
ClearTape uses essential cookies and local storage so you can sign in, keep preferences (such as theme), and use the product. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the core app.
2. What we store
- Session — an authentication cookie / token so you stay signed in (including across page loads for Pro features).
- Preferences — theme and similar UI settings in local storage.
- Local product state — watchlist and saved cards may sync to your account when signed in; unsigned browsers may keep a local copy on the device.
3. Third-party embeds
Some Pro symbol pages embed an interactive chart from TradingView. That embed may set its own cookies under TradingView’s control when the chart loads. We do not use those cookies for advertising. If you prefer not to load third-party chart cookies, avoid opening the interactive chart section, or block third-party cookies in your browser.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, or sign out to end the server session tied to your auth token. Essential storage is required for signed-in use; without it, login and Pro features will not work normally.
